Together with his friend and colleague Maxim Lany he took over the main room of Culture Club where he is still playing today on Thursday & Saturday nights.
In 2009 Neon also was the closing act on the Laundry Day main stage playing after TiÃ«sto.
Since januari 2007, thanks to his friend and colleague Joeri, he has been resident on Sunday nights at the number one club in Belgium: La Rocca, Lier.
2008 & 2009 are the years where Neon takes it one step beyond.
After organising his own parties, Mike Thompson offered him a dj set at the legendary Cherry Moon in Lokeren. Meantime, Neon was also doing his thing on the radio.
He had his own show broadcasting every night on C-dance Ghent.
His sets became more progressive and were enthusiastically received in national (Real, The Zoo, Pulse Factory, Café d’ Anvers, …) and international clubs (Folies Pigalle, Rex, Bar Du Port, Vip-Room, Ocean Club, Dreamers, …) as well as during outdoor festivals such as Solar, Bloomingdale, Dance Parade, Sonar, Tomorrowland and City Parade.
In 1995, at the age of 10, he started buying vinyl.
In those days Phi Phi, Yves Deruyter & Marko were his big influences…
When house music was born, Philip knew this was the music he loved! Tam Tam, Forest, Baccardi’s, Outline, Illusion, Revolution (Nijmegen NL), Renania (DE), Carat, Shaft & La Rocca where he still plays the decks every week! And bands like Milk Inc, Kate Ryan, Jessy and Astroline to name but a few.
His career as a producer started at the age of 18 and his first release “Too Deep” sold over 20.000 copies in the Be Ne Lux area. Philip was also one of the leading men behind the Gemini II project, and was the man who got Zippora here first international hit. From South Africa to Colombia, Spain, Italy, Germany, etc.In December 2006 Philip started his own record label Faith Music with releases from Pole Folder, Oliver Moldan, Art-B, Miquell Santos, Mastino, Dava Di Toma, etc.
